Training
In a first-of-a-kind project, the California Labor Federation and State Building & Construction Trades Council of California are working jointly to prepare journey-level workers for transitioning into the new green economy. The project, which was approved in January 2009, initially includes six Joint Apprenticeship Training Councils in sectors of the economy that are critical to the state's movement to a greener economy. Funded by the Employment Training Panel and the California Energy Commission.
