The 2012 Building Workforce Partnerships conference features three workshop tracks, filled with practitioners, experts, and partners.
Unemployed in America: Causes, Consequences, Solutions features over 25 workshops organized in three tracks: 1) creating new jobs, 2) averting layoffs & providing effective layoff response, and 3) developing high road training partnerships and career pathways. Each session models the best regional collaboration we could find, and each session will impart the best thinking and practices around building enduring regional relationships and deep coalitions. Special emphasis will be on sector-based regional coalitions in core industry sectors – energy & utilities, healthcare, manufacturing, hospitality, construction, logistics & goods movement, and transit.
